First, let me say thank you for visiting my page. I created this site for two reasons, 1) I needed a support page for the apps that I am developing, and 2) I had an "itch" to write up some blog posts about my experiences in learning programming as well as other useful information from my career as an IT professional.
About that IT career... and my journey.
Some time ago I learned I was good at working with technology of all sorts, and since IT paid decent enough I decided to earn an associate's degree in IT networking and join the IT workforce. Fast forward several years, add in a bachelor's degree, a master's degree, jobs as a network engineer, systems administrator, and VP of IT and here we are today. Well, actually, take a step back about 3-4 years because it was at that time I became interested in programming my own iOS apps. I've been using iPhones and iPads since their early years and have been amazed by the apps I've used. I wanted a new IT challenge in life and so picked up a book (or two) and an online class and learned how to program in Swift and Xcode. It took me about 3 years of study and programming practice, but I finally finished my first real app in 2020 (life happens, you know) and immediately put together this site to help support it (shout out to GoDaddy for their awesome tools). Please come back often because I expect to release more apps (more frequently now that I'm "seasoned") and more blog posts and feel free to contact me anytime if you like my apps, have questions or want some help with an app idea of your own.
Why the name "Super Tully"?
Tully is a universal nickname for all of the men in my family. My dad at some point came up with the Super Tully nickname and somewhere along the way it stuck with me and I use it for just about everything, including my little app ventures.
